Poketalia Information
Character information
Country: Norway (Human Name: Nikolas Bjartskular)
Gender: Male
Starter Pokémon: Squirtle, F, Saphira
Appearance:
Personality: Norway is a quiet and reserved young man who is surrounded by an air of mystery.
He doesn’t talk much, but when he does, it is often biting, sarcastic, and overly critical, especially towards Denmark, or anyone he considers being of a lesser intelligence than himself.
He is very sweet towards, and slightly overprotective of those who are closest to him – mostly his brother, Iceland, as well as (to a lesser extent) Sweden and Finland. Although he remains close to Denmark, he holds little of the feelings for him that he does for the rest of the Nordics.
He is very slow to anger, and does not particularly enjoy fighting. He is exceptionally good at it, however, specialising in some of the more ancient kinds of magic, and is a firm believer in the “best defensive is a good offensive” theory – a leftover from his Viking days.

He’d thought that any remains of the asteroid would have remained wherever it had crashed. He’d heard of the small creatures – well, small-ish, for the most part - that had spread around the globe, but never, ever, did he think that they’d make their way this far up north. Clearly, he was wrong, as he looked down at the small creature sitting in front of him and his house.
“Just what are you?” he inquired of it, bending down to get a closer look.
“Squirtle?” the small creature asked, cocking its head to the side as if confused. It clearly understood some amount of human speech, but how much was unclear.
Nikolas was confused as to whether that was what it was, or if that was its name. Whatever it was, it was awfully cute…
“Come here,” he called gently to the thing, holding out his hand for it to sniff.
It waddled up towards him, gently sniffing his hand, allowing him to pet it gently. Its skin was rough and vaguely reptilian in texture, greatly confusing him in its ability to survive this far up north. He picked the thing up gently, taking it into his house. After setting it down, he started looking for some food to give to it, as well as a bed of some sort. It wouldn’t do for him to just leave the thing out to die in the cold, after all, and it seemed somewhat intelligent… maybe it would make a good pet.
