Hong Kong walked out of the museum with Flameo. It was rather... strange to see fossils of creatures which didn't really exist until recently. But it was fascinating anyway. Flameo seemed to be rather excited too, chirping in his arms.
He pretty much liked to carry Flameo in his arms. He was warm and nice to hug anyway. People didn't really stare at him, they seemed to be used to the presence of these Pokemon already.
Anyway, there was this strange rumour of an old man that was quite knowledgable in this town. He wanted to find him and ask him about this entire Pokemon business, and how they came to earth after the meteor. The entire thing was bugging him.
He continued trying to search for the house in the small town.

“Lucciola! Dammit, get back here!” Shouts could be heard from the distance, the sound of heavy footsteps following and increasing along with them. “You're a dead...salamander thing when I get my hands on you!” Out of nowhere a small charmander appeared, happily running trough the city. The poor thing had a lot of energy to spare and didn't seem to hear his trainer at all. In his rush the little orange dragon ran against Hong Kong's leg, bouncing back.
Romano had been chasing the creature from the moment it had begun to run, with no clue on what had gotten into Lucciola at all. He knew that little thing was odd when he first met it, every one of these damn creatures was, but surely he hadn't expected these creates to be so difficult to handle. “Lucciola, I told you stay with me!” Frustrated he walked up to his charmander after it had fallen down, helping it up. Lucciola looked around a bit dazed but happy, giving Hong Kong a happy look. “I should tie you to a god damn rope, you know that you you little jerk?” Romano grumbled under his breath and got up, glaring at his small companion.
Hong Kong had gone by unnoticed until now. Romano looked over at him, after he was done glaring at Lucciola. He was supposed to take responsibility but this little brat now huh? “Did he hurt you?” he couldn't bring himself to say sorry on his pokémon's behalf, so this would do.

A small bump at the back made the Chinese turn around in surprise, and he saw a small orange lizard looking rather dazed on the ground. Flameo chirped and he put him down, letting him have a closer look at the lizard. Noticing the fire burning at the tip of its tail, he felt lucky to not have that part bump into him.
He heard more footsteps and shouting and saw someone running up to him and helping the lizard up, which was giving him a rather happy look. Flameo moved towards the small lizard, somewhat keen to make friends, and continued chirping.
Hong Kong raised an eyebrow as the other grumbled about something, although he couldn't hear it. But the other seemed familiar to him somehow. As the other looked back at him and asked him if he was hurt, he shook his head.
"No... You look familiar somehow," He remarked. "Have we met?"

Lucciola happily moved closer to the Torchic, sweeping his tail from side to side in a playful manner causing Romano to back away. That was one part of the annoying little lizard that he'd never get used to. For a while his own attention was directed at the small bird as well, he hadn't run into one of those before.
The question got Romano's attention back to Hong Kong. He frowned thoughtfully, looking the boy over. “You...do seem familiar.” he couldn't recall if he had met the boy, it seemed very likely the more he thought about it.
You wouldn't be able to forget eyebrows like that anyway....wait, those eyebrows. “You're...part of China aren't you?” That was all he could come up with, having heard stories of one of the Asians with bushy eyebrows much like that real eyebrow bastard.
Now he only needed a name for that kid.

Hong Kong watched as their Pokemon interacted. Flameo seemed pretty happy to meet the Charmander, from all the chirping. Well, the only other times Flameo had 'interacted' with other Pokemon were in the random battle encounters he'd faced on the way here.
Looking back at the other, he nodded.
"I'm Hong Kong," He said, and then thought hard. That curl sticking out at the top of his head... yeah, he was Italian. He kind of knew that, somehow.
"... you're Italy?" He asked. Well, it would be a good guess. He moved away from the two happy Pokemon, the orange dragon seemed to be a little too excited and swinging its (his? He didn't really know...) tail a bit too much.

It was a pleasant day. As he was walking with his Piplup, Romania was looking around, pretty much anywhere but where he was going. It was obvious he’d bump into something, and that something happened to be Hong Kong.
“I-I’m sorry!”, he said, embarrassed. Romania then noticed who it was he bumped into, and the man next to him. “Oh, Hong Kong! And…” He could never tell the Italians apart.
It was the south one who frowned all the time… right?
“S-south Italy…?” The Romanian smiled awkwardly at him, hoping he got that right.

Romano huffed, frowning a bit more than before at being called by his brother's 'name'. No one really did refer to him as just 'Italy', it didn't sit with him well.
He felt the need to say something about it, (or rather complain) but didn't. Mainly because he noticed someone walking straight into Hong Kong. Romano snorted at it, amused at the sight. Lucciola's attention got drawn to the stranger as well upon hearing the unfamiliar voice.
The Charmander made his way over to Romania, circling around his legs. Curiously he began sniffing at the fabric of the pants for some unknown reason, seemingly enjoying the scent.
"...That's me," his frown softened, glad to be recognized by the right name this time. Looking over at Romania however he figured he barely knew who that person was, he did have something familiar.
There were simply to many damn people around to remember he then decided as he pulled his Charmander back by one of his arms.

Hong Kong noticed the disapproving look on Romano's face and wondered what he had done wrong. Flameo chirped in surprise as Hong Kong was once again bumped into by another person, his train of thought interrupted. He nodded as the other apologised, and narrowed his eyes a little as his name was mentioned.
He was another familiar looking person... Did they meet before...? Then he suddenly remembered that the other used to visit China sometimes... and his name was...
"Romania..." He nodded, acknowledging the other, and let Flameo jump into his arms and carried him. Flameo was staring at the penguin thing, whatever it was.
After hearing Romania address the other as 'South Italy', he took note of it and made himself remember to call the other by that name the next time.

Romania was glad he'd remembered their names correctly, especially the Italian’s. Wouldn’t want to get him annoyed with me… He knew about South Italy’s temper quite well.
“Oh, you remember my name!” The Romanian smiled brightly at Hong Kong, surprised he was remembered, though it wasn’t too surprising, considering the amount of times China and Romania used to visit each other in the past.
Meanwhile, the Piplup was hiding a bit behind Romania, observing the other two pokémon with interest.
“Ah… you also have pokémon? T-that’s… cool!” Said the funky-looking man, noticing the other two nation’s little friends somewhat late.
“Were you two going somewhere?”

That name rang more of a bell, wasn't that guy one of those annoying bastards that always hovered around his house? Or what used to be his house anyway, the world really wasn't what it used to be.
The Italian narrowed his eyes at Romania, he was sure that was the guy. Damn he hated people like that. He would better leave him alone from this point, he thought.
Lucciola had wandered away from Romano in the meantime, now seated on the ground between Romania's and Hong Kong's legs, staring up at the both of them to catch a glimpse of the other pokémon. He noticed his master's displeasure with one of them soon enough and got back up, happily returning to Romano's side, circling around him now. The Charmander seemed unable to stay still for long periods of time.
The question got Romano to arch his brow, "Are you two going somewhere?" He frowned as he thought it over, he had no clue about where he was going at all.
In the end he ignored the question altogether, looking over at the shorter Asian, expecting him to answer for them.

The Asian nodded, looking at Romania who had smiled at him, but did not return it. He nodded once more as the other mentioned about his Pokemon. Flameo chirped rather happily after the word 'cool', and Hong Kong wondered how much English did the bird really understand, apart from his battle commands, considering how little he actually talked to the thing.
After hearing the other's question, Hong Kong looked at Romano. The other seemed to want him to answer for them, and so, turning to look at the Romanian, he did.
"I don't know about him..." He said, looking at Romano. "But I'm going to visit the old man that lives here."
He wondered if that sounded strange to the other two, considering that visiting random strangers seemed pretty odd for him. But he really needed to know more about this new world.
