Character information
Country: Germany - Ludwig
Gender: Male
Starter pokémon: Charmander // Male // Aron
Appearance:
Personality:
This stern strategist is a quite clever man, travelling around several places. It may not seem like it at first, but Germany cares a lot about his friends and family even though the German always needs a little 'alone-time'. He is trying to help where he can, but most of the time, others feel intimidated by his thunderous nature.
Unlike his older brother Prussia who left home a long time ago, Germany doesn't want to become the best. He is more the exploring type, learning about different pokemon. That's the reason why it took him a while to get one pokemon... But when he got into it, it felt quite exciting to have a battle, so he trains his pokemon a lot and very regulary. As said, his goal isn't to become the best, that wouldn't fit in his humble goals, but Germany surely wants to become one of the best...

The rain knocked on the window, the big, cold raindrops ran down the clean glass. The blonde looked outside and sighed. It still hadn't stopped... With heavy shoulders, he walked over to his bed. On the pillow, there was a little charmander, sleeping while rolling around nervously. Poor little thing, he thought. It must have a nightmare.
Germany sat on his bed, watching the pokemon. He had found this charmander near to his small house. It was sick, the flame on its tail was weak and the orange skin was covered with small scratches. Who knew what happened to it. Charmander was sleeping for hours now without opening its large eyes once.
"If the heavy rain would actually stop, I could take you to the Pokemon Center...", he mumbled with a low voice. "It wouldn't be smart to take you through the rain while you're sick..."
As if the creature could have heard him, it sighed a little and seemed to have calmed down a little. Germany couldn't help but stroke its scaly skin once, hoping that it would feel good soon. They didn't need to go to a Pokemon Center, but charmander would feel better a lot faster...
So the worried German took care of this fire creature until it was feeling good enough to be left alone. It took him three days actually. During this time, he hadn't explored his environment at all which he normally loved to do. But the pokemon took all the attention and to be honest, it felt nice to have this little animal around him.
"You feel better, don't you?", he asked on the third day while watching charmander cheerfully running around his room. It didn't listen to him, it only jumped around with glee. "Maybe I should bring you back home... I wanted to explore this area anyway..."
Charmander stopped. Its joy vanished, the pokemon looked up to the blonde who sat at his desk. It just gave back a sad "chaar...", before stepping closer to the German. He didn't understand, so charmander let out another sad cry and clinged to his leg.
"W-What are you doing...?" Germany wasn't too good in diagnosing emotions... He could only imagine what it wanted.
Charmander snuggled to him, shaking with fear. It didn't want to leave, it didn't want to go back. When the blonde saw how clingy it got, his face turned a little red.
"Well... If you insist...", he said unsure and took a pokeball from his pocket. He had those, just in case he'd actually find a pokemon he likes. He gently touched charmander's head with the pokeball and it was catched without any resistance. "I should give you a name..." In German, the actual name for 'chamander' was 'Glumanda', but he felt like giving a real nickname. Germany chuckled and released the Glumanda.
"I know..." The pokemon looked up to him in confusion. "How about 'Aron'? Do you like that name?"
It nodded with a soft smile and continued to roll around, with more glee than before.
"What did I get myself into...?", Germany sighed nervously, but secretly, he was quite happy. It couldn't be too bad, could it?
